Fresh off of the “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music” tour, 2 Chainz dropped his 4 song EP “The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It”. He is arguably one the THE HARDEST working rappers in the game right now seeing that he not only toured with a broken leg, but STILL had time to record! One of the songs that really stood out was the track titled “Proud” featuring rappers YG & Offset.
The track detailed many things about 2 Chainz’s childhood and close relationship with his mother growning up that included a line stating “Me and mama used to trap out the same house…Used to eat and go to sleep on the same couch,”.
2 Chainz dropped the official video for “Proud” today and guess who was featured in it…our very own DJ GREG STREET! He introduces the song + has a cameo right in our studios! 2 Chainz is one of our featured artist headlining our SOLD OUT V Live concert this Saturday.
